Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps patients step back and consider the accuracy of their thoughts - a common CBT motto is that “thoughts are opinions, not facts". It helps you to challenge negative thoughts and assumptions that help us improve our coping skills when we face stress and deal with dysfunctional behaviour. It can be highly effective for specific problems; it can also help with challenging our long held core beliefs.
